The US-China Peoples Friendship Association of Minnesota (USCPFA-MN) and the China Center at the University of Minnesota are co-sponsoring a special anniversary event: China Celebrates 60 Years of Change, 30 Years of Friendship. This event will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 17 and will include a reception at the China Center beginning at 4 p.m. and a banquet at Pagoda Restaurant beginning at 6 p.m. Guest of honor, Chicago Consul General, Huang Ping will give a speech at the restaurant as well.
Reservations are required for this event. The cost to attend is US$25 for USCPFA-MN members and US$30 for non-members. Reservations made after Nov. 10 will be US$5 more.
